Job Description

DR Aravind IVF Hospital is looking for a skilled and responsible OT Technician to support operating theatre activities and assist the medical team in maintaining a safe and hygienic clinical environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare the operation theatre, instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
• Assist doctors and the clinical team during surgical and IVF-related procedures as required.
• Maintain proper sterilization and disinfection of surgical instruments and OT equipment.
• Follow infection control protocols and hospital safety standards.
• Ensure the availability of necessary surgical instruments and consumables.
• Monitor the cleanliness and readiness of the operation theatre before and after procedures.
• Handle OT equipment carefully and report any technical issues promptly.
• Maintain OT records, sterilization logs, and procedure-related documentation.
• Coordinate with nurses, doctors, and other clinical staff to support smooth OT operations.
• Follow hospital policies, patient safety procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma or relevant qualification in OT Technology / Operation Theatre Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; hospital or IVF experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of sterilization, infection control, and OT procedures.
• Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
