About the role

We are seeking an experienced OTA/E-Commerce Manager to join Maju Operations and Development on a contract basis, based in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This role is pivotal in managing and optimising our online presence across all e-commerce and online travel agency (OTA) platforms. You will be responsible for driving digital sales growth, ensuring competitive positioning across multiple channels, and implementing strategies that enhance our market presence in the digital landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise listings across all OTA and e-commerce platforms to maximise visibility and bookings
• Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns across digital channels
• Monitor performance metrics, analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) across all OTA and e-commerce platforms
• Coordinate with OTA partners to ensure compliance with platform requirements and policies
• Create and manage product content, descriptions and imagery to enhance online appeal and conversion rates
• Analyse competitive positioning and market trends to inform strategic decision-making
• Handle customer inquiries and reviews across digital platforms, ensuring exceptional service standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory management and operational alignment with digital channels
• Identify and implement new OTA partnerships and e-commerce opportunities for business expansion
• Prepare regular reports and recommendations to senior management on digital sales performance

What we're looking for

Proven experience in managing OTA platforms (such as Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia or similar) or e-commerce environments

• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and e-commerce best practices
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data and use insights to drive sales growth and optimisation
• Experience with channel management systems and revenue management tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly with external partners and stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and digital analytics tools
• Knowledge of the hospitality or travel industry is highly desirable
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple platforms and priorities simultaneously
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
• Familiarity with local market conditions and trends in West Nusa Tenggara is a plus
