OT&AT TECHNICIAN TRAINEES

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated OT & AT Technician Trainee (Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technician Trainee) to join our healthcare team. The candidate will assist in preparing operation theatres, maintaining surgical equipment, supporting anesthesia-related procedures under supervision, and ensuring proper infection control and patient safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who wish to gain practical experience and develop their skills in operation theatre and anesthesia technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and setting up the operation theatre before surgical procedures.
• Help arrange and check surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist qualified OT and anesthesia technicians during procedures under supervision.
• Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and storage of instruments as per hospital protocols.
• Check the functionality and readiness of OT equipment, monitors, suction units, and other devices.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment under supervision.
• Follow infection prevention, biomedical waste management, and patient safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operation theatre and related areas.
• Monitor stock levels of surgical supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Maintain records and documentation as instructed.
• Follow hospital policies, professional ethics, and instructions from senior staff.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Diploma or relevant course in Operation Theatre Technology, Anesthesia Technology, or an equivalent healthcare-related field.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of OT procedures, medical equipment, and infection control is preferred.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions carefully.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or emergency duties, if required.
