OTC/RETAIL Assistant

Murphy's Pharmacy Nenagh is recruiting an experienced and reliable OTC & Retail Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with OTC medications, providing expert advice, and supporting the pharmacy team in day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing OTC medications
• Provide advice and information on OTC products, including dosage and potential side effects
• Maintain OTC product inventory, ensure proper stock levels, and manage product displays
• Ensure customer inquiries are answered professionally and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy

Requirements:

• Previous experience desirable as Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar OTC role min 1 year
• Knowledge of common OTC medications and health products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality service
• Availability to work an occasional weekend, to fill in holiday leave etc.
