OT/IT Integration Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and driven professional who will work closely with our OT/IT Specialist, supporting the integration of manufacturing technologies with the digital solutions developed within our R&D organization.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between shop floor operations, technical experts, and management teams. You should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, communicating with operators, engineers, and stakeholders across multiple functions, and turning ideas into practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the integration of OT and IT systems within manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production operators, technical specialists, and management teams across different departments.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and digitalization.
• Propose, develop, and implement innovative technical solutions.
• Support the deployment and optimization of manufacturing systems and data-driven tools.
• Actively participate in shop floor activities and work closely with operational teams.
• Bridge the gap between manufacturing, automation, data analytics, and business requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and active shop floor presence.
• Knowledge of MES and SCADA systems.
• Understanding of OT and industrial automation technologies, including:
• PLC
• OPC UA
• MQTT
• Understanding of digital technologies such as:
• Databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• APIs
• Cloud architectures
• Experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, and data analytics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively drive initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• English proficiency at a communicative level, both spoken and written.
• Czech – communicative level.
