Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles on OTR routes
• Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and prevent breakdowns
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delays, or safety concerns

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record;
• Proven experience in truck driving, including over-the-road (OTR) routes and delivery driving
• Knowledge of GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
• Ability to handle logistics cargo handling tasks such as load & unload operations if ever needed
• Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols
• Minimum 2 years of experience needed with clean background, and no violations on the MVR

Pay: $0.60 - $0.70 per mile
