Outbound Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Outbound Logistics Supervisor to oversee third-party logistics service providers, finished goods warehouse operations, customer service, and product deliveries. The role ensures efficient warehouse management, accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and excellent customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with company policies and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Third-Party Logistics Management

• Evaluate, select, and manage third-party logistics service providers to ensure compliance with company standards and service agreements.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor operational performance and adherence to established procedures.
• Assess service provider performance against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
• Ensure the proper implementation of company policies and security protocols to safeguard stocks and company properties.

Logistics Customer Service Management

• Monitor customer satisfaction and implement initiatives to improve service quality.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and other departments to address customer requirements and resolve service-related concerns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve delivery issues, support special projects, and enhance customer experience.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers and stakeholders to support business growth.

Finished Goods Warehouse Management

• Oversee warehouse receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure the security and safekeeping of finished goods and other company properties.
• Monitor physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with warehouse records and inventory systems.
• Address warehouse-related issues, customer complaints, and product delivery concerns promptly.
• Oversee the timely and proper processing of product returns in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and service provider performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

Product Order and Delivery Management

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders and prevent missed or delayed orders.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and prioritize orders to meet customer requirements and delivery targets.
• Allocate resources and workloads efficiently to address delivery requirements and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor delivery status, communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, and ensure the accuracy of delivery documentation.
• Make timely operational decisions to meet customer expectations and achieve logistics performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in outbound logistics, warehouse operations, distribution, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers and monitoring operational performance.
• Knowledge of inventory management, order fulfillment, and delivery coordination.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and experienced in using inventory management or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Results-oriented, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple operational priorities.
