What they need
Job Overview:
We are looking for a driven and confident Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our growing Sales team. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be the vital first point of contact in our sales pipeline - identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients in the Health & Social Care sector, and booking high-quality meetings for the senior sales team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with people, can communicate a compelling value proposition clearly, and thrives in a target-driven environment.
About Andor Cards:
Andor Cards provides a purpose-built prepaid card platform for the Health & Social Care sector. We work with care homes, local authorities and NHS trusts to replace cash-based systems with a secure, fully digital solution for managing resident and service user funds.
Our platform eliminates the risks of cash handling, automates payments, and gives care providers real-time visibility and control over budgets while giving residents greater financial independence and families complete peace of mind. Dedicated Carer Cards, bespoke reporting, and a provider payment portal mean less admin, stronger compliance, and a clearer audit trail for everyone involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively research and identify target organisations in the Health & Social Care sector
- Make outbound calls, send emails, and engage via LinkedIn to generate interest in Andor Cards' prepaid card solutions
- Qualify prospects and secure confirmed appointments for the Head of Sales and wider sales team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activity and pipeline in the CRM system
- Follow up with warm leads and nurture prospects who are not yet ready to meet
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly appointment targets
- Work closely with the Head of Sales to refine messaging and targeting strategies
- Provide feedback from prospect conversations to help shape sales and marketing materials
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a telephone-based sales, appointment setting, or business development role
- Confident and professional communication style - both verbal and written
- Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable working to targets
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Experience selling into the Health & Social Care, local government, or financial services sectors
- Knowledge of prepaid card, fintech, or payments solutions
- Experience using LinkedIn
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary
- Performance-based bonus and commission scheme
- Clear progression pathway within the sales team
- The opportunity to join a pioneering company in a growing, purpose-driven sector
- Holidays and Pension
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Benefits:
- Company pension
Work Location: In person
