OUTLET CASHIER

About the role

The Aurora Subic Hotel is seeking a full-time Outlet Cashier to join our hospitality team at our property located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. This is a crucial position within our food and beverage operations, where you will be responsible for managing cash transactions, processing payments and ensuring excellent customer service at our outlet points. As an Outlet Cashier, you will be the final point of contact with our guests, playing an essential role in delivering a seamless and professional experience that reflects the high standards of The Aurora Subic Hotel.

What you'll be doing

1. Processing cash, credit card and digital payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
2. Maintaining accurate cash registers and reconciling daily cash drawers at the end of each shift
3. Providing friendly and efficient customer service to all guests and patrons
4. Recording transactions and preparing accurate cash reports and documentation
5. Handling guest inquiries and resolving payment-related issues professionally
6. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the cashier station
7. Following all food and beverage outlet procedures and hospitality protocols
8. Supporting other team members during peak service periods as required
9. Ensuring compliance with company policies regarding financial transactions and security

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience working as a cashier in a hospitality, food and beverage or retail environment
2. Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
3. Strong mathematical skills and accuracy with financial transactions
4. Excellent customer service and communication abilities
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
6. Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to professional standards
7. Attention to detail and organisational skills
8. High school diploma or equivalent qualification
9. Knowledge of basic food and beverage service practices preferred
10. Fluency in English and Filipino is advantageous
