Outlet Supervisor

Job Summary
The Outlet Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s outlet, ensuring smooth sales activities, excellent customer service, proper inventory management, staff discipline, and achievement of sales targets. The role will also be responsible for ensuring that confectionery products are properly displayed, stored, handled, and sold in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of outlet staff and ensure smooth running of the outlet.
• Monitor daily sales and work with staff to achieve assigned sales targets.
• Ensure customers receive prompt, professional, and friendly service.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.
• Maintain accurate records of stock received, sold, damaged, returned, or expired.
• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure confectionery products are properly displayed and presented attractively to customers.
• Monitor product expiry dates and implement appropriate stock rotation practices.
• Ensure the outlet maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization.
• Supervise cash handling, end-of-day reconciliation, and submission of sales reports.
• Address customer complaints and escalate complex issues to management where necessary.
• Coordinate staff schedules, attendance, punctuality, and general conduct.
• Train and guide outlet staff on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Monitor competitors, pricing, customer preferences, and market activities around the outlet.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly outlet performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

• HND/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in retail, FMCG, hospitality, food service, or outlet supervision.
• Proven ability to supervise a team and manage daily outlet operations.
• Good sales and customer service skills.
• Strong numerical and record-keeping abilities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience managing a food, confectionery, supermarket, or FMCG outlet is an advantage.
• Must be based in or willing to work in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
