About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Outlet Supervisor to join Pasaraya Ms Hari Sdn Bhd at our Chemor, Perak location. This is a full-time position that offers a wonderful opportunity to lead and manage daily operations at our retail outlet. As Outlet Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining store standards, and driving sales performance. You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and creating a positive shopping environment that keeps customers returning to our store.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of retail staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising
• Monitor daily sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues to maintain customer satisfaction
• Manage stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with management on reordering requirements
• Operate point-of-sale systems and ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations throughout the outlet
• Support promotional activities and ensure effective implementation of marketing initiatives
• Report on store performance metrics and communicate feedback to senior management
• Train and mentor junior staff members to develop their retail skills and customer service abilities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a retail environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and retail management software
• Sound knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and stock control procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail for cash handling and sales reporting
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and move around the store throughout the day
• A professional appearance and commitment to upholding brand standards
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure during peak trading periods
