Job Overview

Empowered Mind Therapy is a growing outpatient private practice in Chicago seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our team. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position.

In this role, you will provide outpatient therapy services to teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Our practice emphasizes culturally responsive care, evidence-based treatment, and a supportive team environment.

This position begins part-time (approximately 8–20 hours per week) with opportunity for growth as caseload builds. We are flexible with scheduling; however, clinicians must be available to work at least one afternoon or evening per week to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT-informed strategies, and ERP when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and insurance requirements
• Collaborate with clients to establish meaningful, measurable treatment goals
• Attend and actively participate in clinical supervision
• Support clients in accessing community resources when appropriate

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license required
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Willingness to attend supervision as required
• Experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or life transitions
• Comfort working with Medicaid and commercial insurance populations
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently within a private practice setting

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
