About Us

DP Custom Designs is a growing remodeling, cabinetry, and custom millwork company serving Ocean and Monmouth Counties and surrounding areas.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Outside Cabinet Sales Representative to help grow our cabinetry business by developing relationships with homeowners, builders, remodelers, contractors, designers, property managers, and commercial clients.

Our sales representative will be supported by our in-house design and installation team, allowing the position to remain focused primarily on developing opportunities and closing sales.

What You'll Be Selling

Our cabinetry offerings include:

• MasterBrand cabinetry, including Omega, KitchenCraft, Homecrest, Mantra, and additional lines
• U.S. Cabinet Depot / U.S. Cabinets Direct
• American Outdoor Cabinets
• Kitchen, bath, bar, office, laundry, and commercial cabinetry
• Custom fabricated cabinetry, built-ins, and millwork
• Design-driven specialty cabinetry and custom projects

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build relationships with homeowners, contractors, builders, designers, property managers, and commercial clients
• Generate new cabinet and millwork sales opportunities
• Promote and sell our various cabinet lines
• Conduct in-person meetings and job-site visits to understand client needs
• Develop repeat relationships with builders and trade professionals
• Work with our design team to develop layouts, selections, and custom millwork solutions
• Generate quotes, present proposals, follow up, and close sales
• Serve as a key point of contact between the client and our design/installation team

Requirements

• Previous cabinet sales experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of cabinetry, kitchen and bath products, remodeling, or construction
• Familiarity with MasterBrand or similar cabinet manufacturers is a plus
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable developing new business
• Reliable transportation and professional appearance

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: Commission-Based
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Weekends as needed
Hours: Part-Time, up to approximately 20 hours/week
Work Location: Hybrid / Field-Based, based out of Pine Beach, NJ
