Energy Audit Setter — Outside Sales

Big Sky Home Services is growing our Energy Audit team, and we’re looking for competitive, motivated people who want an opportunity to earn based on performance while developing real sales and leadership skills.

This is a door-to-door appointment-setting position.

You will NOT be expected to perform the energy audit or sell a major home improvement project at the door.

Your job is simple:

Start conversations with homeowners, identify potential energy-efficiency problems, and schedule qualified homeowners for a professional home energy audit.

What We Do

Most homeowners have no idea how much energy their home is wasting.

Poor insulation, air leakage, inefficient windows, aging HVAC systems, and other issues can lead to:

• Uncomfortable rooms
• High heating and cooling bills
• Drafts and temperature swings
• Excessive energy consumption

Our Energy Consultants use professional diagnostic equipment—including blower-door testing and thermal imaging—to help homeowners understand how their home is actually performing.

Your job is to get us in the door.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work in assigned neighborhoods and speak directly with homeowners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Door-to-door prospecting
• Having short, professional conversations with homeowners
• Educating homeowners about our energy audit program
• Identifying basic signs of energy-efficiency problems
• Scheduling qualified energy audit appointments
• Accurately entering appointments and customer information
• Working with your team to hit weekly production goals

This is a field position. You should expect to spend the majority of your working time outside talking to people.

Compensation

This is a performance-driven opportunity.

Typical target earnings: $1,500–$3,000+ per week for productive setters.

Top performers have the opportunity to earn more as they develop their skills and production.

Your income is directly connected to your performance.

No Experience Required

Previous experience in sales, canvassing, solar, roofing, pest control, alarms, home improvement, athletics, hospitality, or other performance-driven environments can be helpful—but isn’t required.
