Outside Sales Representative

We’re looking for an Outside Sales Representative with proven experience selling building materials and a strong understanding of the construction industry.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and grow relationships with contractors, builders, remodelers, and construction professionals
• Make regular outside sales calls and visit customer job sites
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
• Provide product recommendations and solutions based on customer needs
• Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and close sales
• Work closely with inside sales, operations, and management to ensure excellent customer service
• Stay informed on products, pricing, market conditions, and industry trends
• Meet and exceed sales and revenue goals

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of outside sales experience , preferably in building materials, construction, or a related industry
• Proven experience calling on contractors and construction professionals
• Strong knowledge of building materials and the construction industry
• A track record of developing new business and growing customer relationships
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
