Role Description This full-time Outside Sales Representative role is a hybrid position based in New Mexico or El Paso, TX with a mix of in-field work and some work from home. The role involves managing and growing sales within an assigned territory, including regular visits to distributors, end users, contractors, and specifiers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sales presentations, promoting new and existing products, providing product education, and following up on leads to develop new business opportunities. The Outside Sales Representative will maintain strong relationships with key accounts, respond to customer inquiries, and ensure a high level of service and support. The role also includes participating in trade shows and industry events, tracking market trends, and reporting on sales activities and opportunities using the company’s systems and tools.

• Candidates should possess strong sales skills, including Sales Presentations and New Business Development.
• Candidates should possess Relationship Building skills for working with distributors, end users, and other stakeholders in the electrical industry.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, solutions-focused support.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for in-person meetings, phone calls, and written correspondence.
• Previous outside sales experience in electrical products or related industrial sectors is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and travel regularly within the assigned region.
• Comfort using CRM tools and basic office software to track activities and prepare reports.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for visiting customers and attending events.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or the electrical industry from a technical perspective is a plus.
• Knowledge of Electrical Wire and Cable is preffered.
