Outside Sales Representative/Spokane

U.S. Linen and Uniform is a locally owned and operated family business based in Richland, WA. We have grown from a small industrial linen and uniform rental company into a business with six branches serving Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Northeast and Northwest Oregon.

U.S. Linen and Uniform is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Spokane, WA area. We are searching for a professional to sell and promote our products and services to prospective customers that will enhance their own business with linens, apparel, aprons, mats and much more. In this sales position you will be a true hunter; we are looking for someone with an outgoing personality and the drive to get out there and generate new business.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be self-motivated and can work effectively without close supervision
• Able to lift/move up to 30lbs
• Have an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate effectively
• Have and maintain a clean driving record
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills
• Be very detail oriented
• Be able to use Microsoft Office and email
• Be able to calculate figures such as, discounts, interest, percentages, etc.
• Experience in Industrial Laundry sales preferred or route-based B2B industries
• Be competitive, driven and results-oriented

Some responsibilities:

• Keeping detailed track of clients and potential clients
• Cold-calling and other prospecting activities
• Traveling daily to meet with prospective clients
• Conduct sales presentations
• Completing all paperwork for new accounts
• Garment sizing for wearers and new accounts
• Entering data into computer system
• Working cross-functionally with operations, service, and production teams

The Sales Representative will report directly to the Spokane Sales Manager. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for prospecting new clients, cold-calling, and assisting with the sales-process from proposals through closing.
