Job Description: The outside staff is responsible for being attentive to all customer needs while maintaining a clean, organized work environment throughout all three areas of the outside operations: Driving Range, Pro Shop & Cart Staging

The staff is relied upon to work efficiently and effectively and uphold the standards of McInnis Park Golf Center and the expectations of its patrons.

Responsibilities:

Practice Facilities:

Consistently present driving range and practice greens in a neat and clean fashion everyday.

Keep teeing area clear of trash, and return baskets to the ball dispensers when no longer in use.

Communicate with Starter to ensure players head to the first tee in a timely and orderly fashion

Communicate with Golf Instructors to make sure they have all supplies necessary for their lessons

Make sure the Range Machine is fully stocked by periodically picking and cleaning used golf balls throughout the day Clean all golf balls hit onto the range before presenting them for use again

Work with Golf Professional staff with extra duties during tournaments and events

Pro Shop: Help clean around the entrance of the pro shop so every arriving player has a spotless welcome.

Always be present & visible to meet and exceed player expectations Helping players find their carts and assisting with the range machine is a daily requirement.

Communicate with Golf Professional staff to meet the needs of the day that is scheduled Help cover breaks, pull appropriate resources and monitor them carefully.

Always outdoors public areas clean and presentable Make sure all trash is removed from around the pro shop throughout the day, as well as the range and in carts.

Work with Golf Professional staff with extra duties during tournaments and events

Cart Staging Areas: Always maintain the daily cleanliness and restocking of cart fleet

Always keep cart areas clean and organized Utilize cart rotation program for equal use among cart fleet

Follow detailing schedules to maintain spotless cart fleet Report all cart maintenance issues to immediate supervisor in a timely fashion

Remain in communication with the Golf Shop staff to ensure proper number of carts are parked up top for member and guest use Work with Golf Professional staff with extra duties during tournaments and events.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively English required, Bilingual preferred. Ability to work harmoniously with patrons and fellow employees

Ability learn and enforce course policies, rules and regulations Ability to follow verbal and or written instructions

Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely

Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs, work in heat, cold, rain, direct sun or other inclimate weather for extended periods .

EVENING AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK SUNDAYS AND NIGHTS.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 29.0 – 40.0 per week
