Outside Services Manager, Golf

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate on a daily basis with Assistant Golf Professionals, Head Professional and Caddiemaster regarding daily play and upcoming events.
• Work closely with Caddiemaster on daily play and ensure all groups on the golf course have a caddie.
• Maintain an accurate Tee Sheet for all daily play.
• Oversee and manage all Outside Service Operations.
• Assure golf carts are cleaned and washed per club procedures.
• Oversee and maintain golf cart fleet.
• Ensure all golf carts are restocked, properly rotated, and charged based on daily usage.
• Maintain clean towels, including washing, drying and folding.
• Oversee and maintain all aspects of Practice Range including set up, daily rotation, restocking, and picking of range balls.
• Maintain chipping area and putting green.
• Fill clean buckets of balls in the evening in preparation for next day’s shift opening.
• Check oil and gas in picker weekly.
• Set up members and guest bags for play.
• Put away member and guest bags in proper storage location and in timely fashion.
• Maintain rental set inventory by keeping clubs and bags clean.
• Greet members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Give directions to Golf Shop and after check-in direct players to club amenities.
• Keep staging area well stocked with carts throughout the day.
• Clean all players’ golf clubs thoroughly.
• Assure that all bags are tagged properly.
• Provide information on club policies and procedures, upcoming events, and rules of the day to members.
• Load bags into vehicle and thank members and guests for playing.
