Outsystems Architect

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on, high-caliber OutSystems Solution Architect to lead the architecture, technical design, and execution of enterprise low-code applications. In this role, you will be responsible for defining core platform architecture, establishing robust software design patterns, and leveraging next-generation OutSystems features—including ODC (OutSystems Developer Cloud), Mentor, and Agent Workbench. You will serve as the technical authority for the dev team, bringing strong technical depth and active hands-on development experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define end-to-end application architecture, microservices/domain-driven design strategies, and integration patterns connecting OutSystems with external enterprise systems
• Actively build, prototype, and perform code/architecture reviews across ODC and O11 environments
• Implement and orchestrate AI features using OutSystems Mentor for AI-guided application development and Agent Workbench to build enterprise-grade, agentic workflows
• Drive architectural patterns, performance tuning, data modeling, multi-tenant structures, and security standards across all phases of the SDLC
• Provide direct domain and technical mentorship to developers, taking complete accountability for complex architectural decisions

About you

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing complex OutSystems applications (O11 and/or ODC)
• Direct, hands-on experience working in OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC), Mentor, and Agent Workbench
• Demonstrated mastery of enterprise architectural patterns, API management, asynchronous processing, data isolation, and scalable system design
• Deep technical authority—capable of guiding senior developers and driving complex solutions independently without relying on the team for technical direction
• OutSystems Architecture Specialization (O11 or ODC), or ODC Technical Lead / Architect Certification (preferred)
• Experience migrating legacy OutSystems (O11) applications over to ODC (preferred)
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), LLM integration, or custom agent development (preferred)
