MORE THAN JUST OPERATING THE OH CRANE

Our Overhead Crane Operator safely and efficiently operates our crane to transport and pour 2-yard buckets of wet concrete mix into our wall forms. The environment is truly team oriented, working together to keep production moving at a safe but efficient pace. The opportunity to learn about our product mix and batching of concrete is available to the right operator looking for the next steps to career advancement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

· Competently operate Overhead Crane and Bucket to transport/pour concrete into forms.

· Supports Batch Plant Operator as needed, learning to be a backup Batch Plant Operator.

· Assist other crews as needed when pouring work is complete or in flux.

· Prep and clean mixer at beginning/end of pour daily.

· Communicate and work as part of a team with all Production Team members.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

· Ability and willingness to work overtime

· High awareness of safety for yourself and others

· Ability to read, write and speak effectively in English

· Reliable attendance and dependable transportation to work

· Ability to perform physical work, including lifting 50 lbs. frequently

· Ability to climb ladders, crawl, bend, kneel, crouch and twist frequently with to standing, twisting and walking constantly

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & GROWTH OPPORTUNITY

Experience in the concrete and/or construction industry is preferred. Previous experience operating an Overhead Crane is required combined with strong mechanical aptitude. After solid performance is established, there is an opportunity to learn batch plant operation adding further value/pay.
