Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Overhead Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment efficiently and safely across our facility. Your expertise will ensure smooth material handling processes, support construction and manufacturing operations, and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes with precision to lift, move, and position heavy loads according to project specifications and safety standards
• Conduct routine inspections of crane equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to plan lifting activities and ensure efficient workflow
• Rig heavy loads securely using appropriate rigging techniques and tools before lifting or moving
• Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radios during crane operations
• Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries
• Assist with other mechanical tasks such as operating forklifts or boom trucks as needed to support site operations

Requirements

• Proven experience operating overhead cranes in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
• Valid certification for crane operation (if applicable) and familiarity with rigging techniques
• Ability to operate forklifts, boom trucks, and other heavy machinery safely
• Mechanical aptitude with a good understanding of crane components and maintenance needs
• Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective teamwork
• Experience working with construction materials or in environments requiring physical labor is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
