Overhead Door Lead Technician

Atlantic Windoor Ltd is a locally owned and operated company with three divisions: Overhead Doors (both residential and commercial), Pedestrian Doors and Hardware, and Glass. For over 30 years we have served communities in and around Saint John and Fredericton. We employ skilled and committed install and service technicians whose primary goal is superior customer service, fast response times, and high-quality work that leaves job sites cleaner than when we arrived.

We are looking for an Overhead Door Lead Technician to join our overhead door team in Saint John. This is a senior technician role focused on running the jobs you are assigned, mentoring other technicians, and providing technical leadership in the field.

Day-to-day work includes leading and completing overhead door installations, service, and repairs (primarily commercial, with some residential), including sectional doors, rolling steel, high-speed doors, operators, and related systems. You will mentor and support other technicians on the jobs you are assigned, run those jobs from start to finish in the field, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and handle the on-call rotation (normally every 8–10 weeks). You will keep accurate job notes, communicate clearly with the office and customers, represent the company professionally in the field, and work from a fully stocked and equipped company van.

What We Are Looking For

We prefer candidates with 5-10 or more years of overhead door experience who can run jobs and mentor other technicians. Leadership or formal experience training others is nice to have but not mandatory, and manufacturer certifications are not required. Strong mechanical aptitude, a professional attitude, a safety-focused approach, and the ability to work safely and independently while supporting the team are essential.

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
