Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead doors, including sectional doors, rolling steel doors, and specialty door systems using hand tools and power tools
• Conduct welding and fabrication tasks to customize or repair door components as needed
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation and repair procedures
• Handle heavy lifting of door sections, frames, and mechanical parts safely using appropriate equipment
• Utilize electrical low voltage for wiring sensors, openers, or control systems associated with overhead doors
• Work on construction sites
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for door hanging, fixture installation, cabinet setup, or metal fabrication
• Follow safety protocols at all times while working on construction or remodeling projects
• dock and truck restraints install and maintenance

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Prior experience working with power tools, hand tools
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
