Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Garage Door Technician with a minimum of 5 years as a lead tech to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with sectional overhead doors, rolling steel doors, and related equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and new installations on a variety of commercial and industrial sites in the oil & gas .

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead doors, operators, and loading dock equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately
• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Interact professionally with customers and provide excellent service
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with overhead or garage door systems (preferred)
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Welding, electrical, or construction experience is an asset

Schedule

• Monday to Friday (Lots of overtime )

Compensation

• $[30]–$[45.00] per hour, depending on experience

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 – 72.0 per week
