We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Overhead Line Inspection Operative to join our team.

In this role, you will carry out inspections of overhead power lines and associated equipment, recording asset condition in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

You will:

  • Carry out inspections of overhead line assets and equipment across the network.
  • Record asset condition accurately in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support annual inspection programmes on LV, 11kV and 33kV overhead networks.

  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and reliability of the electricity network across the South East region.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be organised, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors as part of a field-based role.

You have:

  • Experience of working in an outdoor, field-based, operational or practical role.
