Overnight Baker

About Us
We have a full-time overnight Baker position open in our bakery located on Lawton Street. We are looking for bakers with experience in high-volume production baking, as well as delivery experience. This role includes baking, preparing, and driving pastry deliveries to our café locations, so a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. The starting hourly rate is $26.00–$29.00, based on experience. What You’ll Do

• Production baking and prep cook
• Overnight shifts
• Uphold bakery cleanliness and health department standards.
• Essential knowledge in bread making, production baking and food prep.
• Work as an integral part of the bakery team to produce the highest quality products with accuracy and a sense of urgency.
• Demonstrate a commitment to honing your baking skills and completing all kitchen tasks at the highest level of competency, while producing high-quality products and optimizing for high-volume production.
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the kitchen and storage areas.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of all Andytown products, recipes, food preparation, quality control standards, customer accommodations, and allergy information.

Requirements

• CA Drivers License Required.
• Production Bakery Delivery and fulfillment experience required.
• Production Baking experience preferred.
• Ability to do repetitive work.
• Comfortability working in a small space in close proximity to others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
• Ability to stand up to 8+ hours every shift.
• Sometimes will need to bend, crouch, kneel, and reach over-head, to complete tasks.
