The Overnight Manager is a hands-on supervisory position responsible for supporting overnight operations and serving as the main point of contact for multiple departments during the shift. This role requires someone who is highly customer-oriented, confident leading employees, and able to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

The ideal candidate has experience supervising or leading groups of employees and is comfortable providing direction, addressing workplace concerns, and handling difficult customer situations professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and departments during the overnight shift.
• Oversee and support employees to ensure daily responsibilities and operational standards are being followed.
• Provide clear direction and communicate expectations effectively with employees across multiple departments.
• Respond to customer concerns and complaints with professionalism, patience, and a solution-oriented approach.
• De-escalate difficult or high-pressure situations involving customers or employees.
• Coordinate with different departments when operational issues require immediate attention.
• Monitor employee performance, conduct, and adherence to company policies during the shift.
• Address routine employee concerns and escalate serious or sensitive matters to the appropriate management team.
• Make appropriate decisions within the scope of the position when senior management is not immediately available.
• Document incidents, customer concerns, employee issues, and other important overnight events as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management and provide clear follow-up regarding unresolved issues.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, organized, professional, and customer-focused environment throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory, team lead, or management experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience overseeing and providing direction to multiple employees.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle conflict and de-escalate difficult situations.
• Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple situations and responsibilities at the same time.
• Dependable and comfortable working independently when senior management is not on-site.
• Ability and willingness to learn company procedures, policies, and operational systems.
• Reliable availability for overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of the overnight shift while still being approachable and customer focused. The right candidate knows how to lead employees, communicate clearly, handle challenging situations without unnecessarily escalating them, and recognize when an issue needs to be brought to senior management.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable being present and involved in day-to-day operations rather than managing solely from an office.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
