Overnight Operations Associate

Job Summary The Operations Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Overnight Operations Manager with all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.

• Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
• Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
• Communicate effectively with the Overnight Operations Manager to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch
• Communicate effectively with the Overnight Operations Manager to address any operational issues
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

• Demonstrated knowledge of our business model and a strong work ethic
• Basic customer service skills and ability to function well with coworkers
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to think critically
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
