Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
• Operate access control systems to verify identities and regulate entry points for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment to monitor activity across the property and respond swiftly to any incidents or anomalies.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events for record-keeping and follow-up.
• Perform background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the onboarding process to ensure safety compliance.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by executing established procedures such as fire drills, medical emergencies, or conflict de-escalation.
• Use physical security measures including heavy lifting, manual handling, and the deployment of tools like Tasers or firearms where legally permitted and trained.
• Provide first aid assistance including CPR and AED operation when necessary to stabilize injured individuals until professional help arrives.
• Enforce security policies in accordance with legal regulations and company standards while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Support law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external coordination.

Experience

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control technology, and emergency response procedures.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and firearm handling preferred; training provided if necessary.
• Ability to perform physical security tasks such as patrolling on foot or vehicle, heavy lifting, and manual handling with safety focus.
• Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity for legal or investigative purposes.
• Strong conflict management skills with experience in de-escalation techniques to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Knowledge of compliance standards related to security regulations and law enforcement protocols is highly desirable.
