You will be responsible for monitoring premises through surveillance systems, conducting patrols, managing access control, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems continuously to detect suspicious activity or breaches in security.
• Manage access control by verifying identities, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining logs of all entries and exits.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations using established procedures, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any unusual activities or incidents encountered during shifts.
• Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as needed to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Operate emergency response equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), Taser devices, and firearms where authorized and trained.

Skills

• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and monitoring multiple feeds simultaneously.
• Background in military or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and conflict management capabilities.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing physical security measures.
• Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.
• Proficiency in using access control systems and performing background checks efficiently.
• Skilled in conflict de-escalation, conflict management, and customer service to handle tense situations professionally.
• Familiarity with security regulations compliance and performing routine patrols across various environments.
