Overnight Stocker

Duties

• Load and unload shipments using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring safe lifting practices at all times
• Stock shelves and display areas accurately according to merchandising standards and product knowledge
• Operate RF scanners to track inventory movement and update stock records precisely
• Conduct inventory control activities including cycle counts and stock audits to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Organize and maintain warehouse spaces, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes by preparing products for dispatch or storage
• Support retail store operations by packaging products, replenishing stock, and preparing merchandise for sale or transfer

Skills

• Proficiency with RF scanners, forklift operation, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Strong inventory management skills with experience in stock control and materials handling
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and merchandising tasks
• Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, packaging, shipping & receiving procedures
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying inventory quantities
• Experience with warehouse operations including manual handling, maintenance, cleaning, and safety protocols
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining a positive attitude
