Overseas Buyer

Job Summary

Responsible for overseas purchasing activities, material planning, purchase order management, supplier coordination, and on-time material delivery to support production requirements. The position will work closely with Production Planning, Warehouse, Engineering, and suppliers to ensure the right materials are purchased and delivered according to production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overseas purchasing based on MRP, production plan, and inventory requirements
• Create and control Purchase Orders (PO) in Oracle ERP
• Monitor and adjust PO according to requirements, including Pull-in, Push-out, and Cancellation
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery
• Monitor material inventory and prevent material shortage, excess inventory, and production interruption
• Follow up purchasing and delivery status and provide weekly updates
• Identify potential supply risks and take preventive/corrective actions
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Production, and other related departments
• Evaluate supplier and purchasing performance and identify improvement opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields

• 2–5 years of experience in Purchasing / Overseas Purchasing / Material Planning
• Experienced in Oracle ERP, MRP, and PO Management
• Good understanding of inventory control and supplier management
• Good command of English and communication skills
• Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
