Overseas Procurement Manager

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement overseas procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing and a stable supply chain.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage overseas suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Manage the end-to-end import purchasing process, including Purchase Orders (PO), shipping, customs clearance, and logistics coordination.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable import/export regulations.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Overseas Procurement, Import Purchasing, or Strategic Sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of international procurement, import procedures, shipping, customs, Incoterms, and international trade.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems SAP is an advantage.
• Experience in the packaging, manufacturing, or industrial sector is preferred.
