Role Description The Owner role at Koperasi Merah Putih is a full-time, on-site position located in Pontianak, responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the cooperative’s operations. Day-to-day tasks include setting business goals, supervising financial performance, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and cooperative principles. The Owner collaborates with management and staff to develop growth initiatives, improve member services, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners. The role also involves making key investment decisions, overseeing risk management, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with the cooperative’s mission.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to guide teams, delegate responsibilities, and make informed decisions.
• Solid understanding of business management and finance, including budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
• Knowledge of cooperative principles, local regulations, and best practices in governance and compliance.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with members, staff, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operations on-site, prioritize tasks, and maintain accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in entrepreneurship, cooperative management, or related fields is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
