Role Description The Owner role at Capelli Sport New York in Lebanon, TN is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing all aspects of store and business operations. Day-to-day tasks include managing staff schedules, supervising sales floor activities, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The Owner monitors inventory levels, coordinates product ordering and merchandising, and maintains store cleanliness and visual standards. This role also involves setting sales goals, tracking performance metrics, handling budgeting and basic financial oversight, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. The Owner builds relationships with customers, local sports organizations, and vendors, while promoting the Capelli Sport brand and seeking opportunities for community engagement and business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or small business management, including staff supervision and store operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse customers and community partners.
• Basic financial and administrative skills, such as budgeting, cash handling, and record-keeping.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in sports, athletic apparel, or related industries, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
• Comfort working on-site in Lebanon, TN, including occasional evenings, weekends, and peak seasons as needed.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability in representing the Capelli Sport brand.
• Prior ownership or leadership experience in retail or hospitality is preferred but not required.
