Company Description Colegio de Montalban was established in response to the growing number of high school graduates in Rodriguez (Montalban), Rizal, following close collaboration between the local government and the Department of Education to expand public elementary and high schools in every barangay. To meet the demand for accessible higher education, local authorities founded Pamantasan ng Montalban, now known as Colegio de Montalban. The institution is recognized as a key provider of tertiary education for the surrounding communities. It continues to support educational advancement and local development through its academic programs and community-focused initiatives.

Role Description The Owner of Colegio de Montalban is responsible for providing overall strategic direction, ensuring that the institution fulfills its educational mission and remains aligned with regulatory and accreditation standards. This full-time, on-site role in Metro Manila involves overseeing academic programs, financial management, resource allocation, and long-term planning to support institutional growth and sustainability. The Owner works closely with the executive and academic leadership teams to set policies, approve major initiatives, and promote a culture of integrity, inclusion, and academic excellence. Daily responsibilities include reviewing operational reports, engaging with key stakeholders such as government agencies and community leaders, and making decisions on capital investments, partnerships, and institutional priorities. The role also includes representing the institution in public forums and ensuring that governance practices are transparent, ethical, and compliant with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, governance, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to guide an academic institution toward long-term growth and sustainability.
• Financial management and budgeting capabilities, including experience with institutional funding, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Stakeholder engagement and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with government agencies, educational authorities, community partners, and internal staff.
• Knowledge of higher education operations, policies, and regulatory requirements, preferably within the Philippine education sector.
• Proven experience in senior management, ownership, or executive leadership, ideally in education, public service, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, public administration, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and the development of equitable educational opportunities for diverse communities.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions that balance educational quality, financial viability, and community needs.
