Role Description The Owner role at New York Vibez is a part-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The Owner will oversee daily operations, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring a welcoming, high-quality customer experience. Responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, coordinating marketing and promotional activities, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners. The role also involves setting short- and long-term business goals, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The Owner will act as the primary decision-maker, representing the brand and guiding its strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business ownership, management, or leadership within retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment.
• Strong skills in operations management, including staff oversight, inventory control, and process improvement.
• Ability to manage budgets, review financial reports, and make data-informed decisions to support profitability and growth.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging customers, leading team members, and collaborating with external partners.
• Familiarity with brand development, basic marketing practices, and customer experience strategies.
• Capacity to work on-site in Singapore and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of local business regulations and willingness to ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
• Preferred: Prior experience in lifestyle brands or urban culture-focused businesses, and proficiency in multiple languages commonly used in Singapore.
