Owner Operator /truck Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Owner Operator / Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and reliability. As an Owner Operator, you will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining vehicle compliance. This position offers the chance to work independently with the support of a professional logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks and freight vehicles over designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met
• Perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate repairs with authorized service providers to maintain vehicle readiness
• Manage documentation related to deliveries, including manifests, bills of lading, and logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit
• Assist with heavy equipment operation when required for loading or unloading freight
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior to promote safety and professionalism

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts is advantageous
• Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards in transportation
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment or handling freight is a plus

Pay: $90,400.00-$302,000.00 per year
