Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized equipment for hazardous or dangerous goods transport.
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across long-distance OTR routes.
• Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, adhering strictly to logistics cargo handling procedures and safety standards.
• Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazard communication protocols.
• Manage vehicle inspections, routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal performance.
• Handle delivery driving tasks with professionalism, ensuring cargo is secured properly and delivered accurately at each destination.
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, route details, and cargo manifests in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any unforeseen delays or issues.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight transportation across OTR routes.
• Demonstrated expertise in driving tractor-trailers including manual transmission trucks and specialized equipment such as refrigerated trailers or tankers.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient delivery execution.
• Prior experience in handling logistics cargo including load & unload operations and truck loading/unloading procedures.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to commercial driving, hazardous materials handling (Hazmat), and dangerous goods transportation.
• Delivery driver experience emphasizing safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the equipment operated; endorsements for Hazmat or tanker preferred but not required initially.

Pay: $1,773.35 - $6,544.24 per week
