About DIGICOM USA

DIGICOM USA is looking for a skilled and dependable PABX Technician to join our team in Yorba Linda, California. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting PABX/PBX and VoIP telephone systems and related telecommunications equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, program, and maintain PABX/PBX and telephone systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, telephone, and network-related issues.
• Install and terminate telephone cabling, wiring, extensions, and related equipment.
• Configure extensions, hunt groups, auto attendants, voicemail, call forwarding, and other system features.
• Perform system upgrades, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
• Test telephone lines, extensions, handsets, and network connectivity.
• Work with IP phones, VoIP systems, gateways, switches, routers, and related telecommunications equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, repairs, and service calls.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams.
• Travel to customer locations as required for installations and service work.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a PABX, PBX, Telecom, VoIP, or Telephone Technician preferred.
• Strong understanding of PABX/PBX and VoIP systems.
• Experience with IP telephony and basic networking.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot telecommunications equipment.
• Experience with telephone cabling, termination, and testing.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to customer sites when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SIP, VoIP, IP-PBX, VLANs, routers, and network switches.
• Experience with systems such as Mitel, Avaya, Panasonic, NEC, Nortel, Cisco, similar platforms.
• Telecommunications or networking certifications/training.
• Experience supporting business telephone systems and commercial customers.
