We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pack Manager to oversee and supervise a pack of dogs in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong canine knowledge, excellent dog training skills, and the ability to read and interpret canine body language to ensure a safe and harmonious pack. Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a pack of dogs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and proper behavior.
• Apply dog training techniques to promote good conduct within the pack.
• Utilize canine knowledge to understand individual dogs’ needs, temperaments, and behaviors.
• Read canine body language accurately to prevent potential problems before they escalate.
• Monitor interactions among dogs to maintain a peaceful environment.
• Assist in implementing training programs and behavioral management strategies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the pack area.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding dog behavior and pack management strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dog training or related canine management roles.
• Strong knowledge of canine behavior, body language, and communication cues.
• Canine knowledge is essential; familiarity with esquestian work is a significant plus.
• Ability to supervise and manage a group of dogs confidently.
• Excellent observational skills to anticipate issues based on body language cues.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive approach to animal care.
• Prior experience working with dogs in a supervisory capacity is preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
