Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks, box trucks, or personal vehicles to deliver packages across designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and safe lifting practices during all driving and manual handling activities.
• Navigate routes efficiently using mobile devices or GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries.
• Interact courteously with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety compliance and proper functioning of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Experience

• Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services is highly preferred.
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or forklifts, is advantageous.
• Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely while following manual handling best practices.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience with commercial truck driving is a plus.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations ensures compliance during all deliveries.
• Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Pay: From $22.50 per hour
