Package Delivery Driver Associate

Jimenez Ground Inc. is looking for Delivery Drivers to join our team!

Position Overview

Delivery drivers employed by Jimenez Ground Inc. are responsible for providing safe, timely, and professional last-mile delivery services throughout the Inland Empire. As an independent service provider for FedEx, Jimenez Ground Inc. has proudly serviced multiple delivery routes and zip codes for over 5 years, ensuring customers receive packages efficiently and with excellent customer service.

Delivery Drivers operate company-provided vehicles to pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Pay

• Starting pay: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Weekly pay opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety standards
• Deliver and pick up packages efficiently within assigned routes and schedules
• Load, unload, lift, and carry packages of varying sizes and weights
• Use handheld scanners and delivery technology to track and confirm deliveries
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations
• Navigate routes using GPS and route management systems
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork
• Work independently while meeting productivity and delivery performance expectations
• Follow FedEx service standards and company operating procedures

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Delivery driving experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks

Preferred Skills

• Experience driving step vans, box trucks, or commercial delivery vehicles
• Familiarity with the Inland Empire area and local routes
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
