Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles, including personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and standards.
• Load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
• Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to optimize time and fuel consumption while maintaining punctuality.
• Deliver packages directly to customers’ doorsteps, ensuring proper handling and safe lifting practices during loading and unloading.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing questions, confirming deliveries, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and digital records of all shipments handled during each shift.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is preferred; familiarity with commercial driving is highly valued.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of traffic laws
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Comfortable working independently in route driving scenarios while managing time effectively.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move packages throughout the shift; familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial.
