Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload packages using material handling equipment such as forklifts and manual lifting techniques.
• Sort shipments accurately according to destination, size, and priority, ensuring proper organization for shipment processing.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and automatic inserting machines to facilitate efficient package movement.
• Maintain precise records of incoming and outgoing shipments through data entry and filing systems.
• Assist with mail distribution, mail processing, and shipment sorting tasks to support overall warehouse operations.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials, managing inventory, and ensuring proper storage practices.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards during outdoor work and indoor warehouse activities.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, data entry, and shipment documentation.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and shipment calculations.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly throughout the shift.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and communication purposes.
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting with team members and external partners when needed.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
