Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packager to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment by accurately packaging, labeling, and handling materials in accordance with safety standards and manufacturing procedures. Your energetic approach will ensure efficient workflow, maintain high quality standards, and support the overall production process. Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and hand tools to assemble, seal, and prepare products for distribution
• Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure compliance
• Interpret production documents such as work orders, batch records, and assembly instructions with accuracy
• Handle materials using appropriate materials handling equipment, including forklifts when certified, ensuring safe movement of goods within the warehouse or production area
• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols in production areas, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and heavy lifting techniques
• Perform quality checks on packaged products to verify correct labeling, packaging integrity, and compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse operations is highly preferred
• Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills related to industrial equipment and packaging machinery
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety standards in production environments
• Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions
• Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality assessments
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence during heavy lifting and assembly tasks
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
