Job Overview

Duties

• Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently, including automated and manual systems, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and FDA regulations.
• Interpret production documents such as work orders, batch records, and standard operating procedures to ensure correct packaging processes.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime.
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and proper use of material handling equipment like forklifts when necessary.
• Follow safety standards rigorously, including safety protocol adherence during all phases of packaging and materials handling.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged products to verify correct labeling, sealing, and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch numbers, quantities packed, and any deviations or incidents.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing or packaging environments, with knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations relevant to packaging operations.
• Mechanical knowledge related to packaging equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing documents accurately and follow detailed standard operating procedures.
• Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and documentation purposes.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts safely; certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production settings, including heavy lifting techniques and safety protocol adherence.
• Warehouse operations experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and materials handling processes.

Pay: $24.43 - $29.42 per hour
