Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packager to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment by accurately packaging, labeling, and handling materials according to strict quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and material handling tools to efficiently package finished products in accordance with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Interpret production documents and work instructions to ensure correct packaging specifications are met
• Conduct quality checks on packaged items to verify proper labeling, sealing, and product integrity
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery and industrial equipment to minimize downtime
• Adhere to safety standards in production areas, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols for heavy lifting and forklift operation
• Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading using material handling equipment such as forklifts while following safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including batch numbers, quantities, and inspection results

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is highly preferred
• Knowledge of packaging equipment operation and basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
• Ability to interpret manufacturing documents and production instructions clearly
• Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and assembly processes
• Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and documentation accuracy
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment safely
• Strong commitment to safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently

Pay: $23.46 - $28.25 per hour
