Duties

• Operate packaging machinery and equipment in accordance with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety standards
• Assemble, package, and label products accurately, adhering to production specifications and quality guidelines
• Handle materials efficiently using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts, ensuring safe lifting practices for heavy loads
• Interpret production documents, including batch records and work orders, to ensure correct packaging processes
• Conduct routine mechanical troubleshooting on packaging equipment to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operation
• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety protocols during all tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area, ensuring compliance with safety standards in production environments

Requirements

• Prior experience in manufacturing facility operations or warehouse environments is highly preferred
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues effectively
• Familiarity with packaging equipment, materials handling, and warehouse operations
• Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and documentation accuracy
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely; certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production settings, including safety protocol adherence and heavy lifting techniques
• Excellent attention to detail for interpreting production documents and maintaining quality standards
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, lifting heavy objects, and manual assembly for extended periods

Pay: $23.97 - $28.86 per hour
